Fabric softeners have been around for a long time.
Liquid fabric softeners first appeared in the 1960’s and dryer sheets followed in the 1970’s as a more convenient way to soften clothes and reduce static cling. Unfortunately, single-use dryer sheets create unnecessary waste and have chemicals that may irritate skin, reduce fabric softness, and make towels less absorbent. Their residue can clog lint filters, block airflow, affect moisture sensors, and lengthen drying time.

Our journey to improve laundry care ...
.... started at home when we struggled to remove the dryer sheet’s chemical residue from the lint filter screen, which had built up over time. The water from the faucet sprayer flowed off the screen rather than through the tiny holes.

... multi-packed dryer ball packages started to appear in retail stores next to dryer sheet brands. However, they were smaller-sized wool balls, which got lost in clothing and bed sheets. It was also a challenge to figure out the right number of balls to use for different load sizes. Directions were all over the board. They ranged from using two or more balls for small loads - without even mentioning large loads - to no directions given at all.
There had to be a better way.
So, we asked the question, how about one larger wool ball that is reusable for all load sizes? A JUMBO-SIZE wool ball was then created and the slogan ONE BALL. THAT’S ALL. was officially born.
The JUMBO-SIZE wool ball tumbles more freely to separate the laundry, distributes the heat more evenly, and absorbs more moisture for faster drying while reducing static cling and softening clothes. It won’t get lost inside bed sheets, clothing, or other hiding places.
And to ensure a reliable laundry care experience, a USA-based independent third-party laboratory testing services company conducted a yearlong test and verified the JUMBO-SIZE wool ball is REUSABLE FOR 1,000 LOADS or MORE.
